Stopped at boutique to pay deposit today.
During conversation the SA brought this to show me.
Thought it would be nice to share here.

yes its RG.

For SS, you need to have an over 60k usd purchase history in store in order to be on waiting list

Yours looks fantastic.
Thanks for sharing

Or with no history you could use an old Jedi mind trick to get the boutique to sell you one!

I could tell you my secret but then I’d have to kill you...

Or break out the mind eraser

Absolutely stunning piece and great pictures to boot. Not sure if you've ever tried on the 5990/1A, if you have, how would you rank these two pieces?

Hard to compare really, my preference should be pretty clear.

The RO Vs Nautilus battle will always go on and neither one is better then the other it’s just a case one will be better for the buyer!

For me I prefer the overall feel and look of the Royal Oak and then the openworked just shows the true art and workmanship which goes into the movement, you in essence are staring into the heart of the watch, to me it’s the best openworked AP does even over the tourbillion.

Where as the 5990a is two great complications really well executed in a nice dial layout, I know some find the PP text oddly placed but I’m indifferent and happy with how it is, my one gripe with the whole Nautilus range is to me what’s feels like a dated clasp design/use and would love to see an update of some sort.

If I was to have an AP and PP duo it would be the 15407st and 5990a but then AP would get the majority of wrist time without a shadow of doubt.
