Happy birthday to me...
Talked to DavidSW yesterday for 1 minute to make sure he had the watch in stock and could ship overnight. It was around 3:30pm Central USA time. Thank you David for the prompt shipping.
I have been wanting this watch for a while. Could not make up mind between the white, black GV or the blue GV dials. Finally, decided that if I want a Milgauss, why not get the most quirky one.... here are some pictures. |

Thanks. One has to see this watch in person. Not everyone will like the dial/glass/seconds hand combo, but all of it just works very well. The markers and ever changing shades of blue dial, just gives this watch a unique look.
I was not sure about the PCL and it did not bother me much today. I’ll see how conscious I feel at work tomorrow with all that shinny metal. So far, the watch and I have bonded and this will be a great companion to my three other Rolexes... one more to go - GMT Master II Ceramic. |

Happy birthday man, what a great gift. The Milgauss takes undeserved abuse sometimes because, yes, it's a little different. 'Different' is what makes life interesting. If it had a fluted bez, I'd be all over it. The second hand alone is worth the 'price if admission'.

That's awesome, big congrats! If I were to add a second Rolex to my collection today, it would likely be this exact reference. I love the blue dial with the green sapphire. Looks amazing, and will work with any attire you may have on.
