Explorer II Bracelet/Endlink
Hi all. I just purchased an Explorer II and was fiddling around with bracelet when I realized the Endlink code does not completely match the code on the bracelet. They both have 78790A stamped on but the end links have an OP etched in while the clasp says EO3. Is it something to be concerned about?

OP is 2006 and EO is 2007. I wouldn't be concerned.

The clasp EO3 is a date code that means your watch head and your bracelet were put together on March 2007. The 78790A is the correct bracelet for the 16570 with solid end links.
If your watch is M or Z serial, it all checks out. The OP etching is in the inside of the endlinks? (cannot see when fitted). On my F, with same setup, there is no play and the match is near perfect. And there is nothing etched on the back of the endlinks or the last link. |
