My How Things Have Changed — Pepsi 16700
I’ve had this watch for a while now. I bought it on a whim primarily due to the fact of its relative affordability at the time. It didn’t have a bracelet, and I added it a while after. Honestly, I can’t believe how prices have changed. I’m sure some of you guys that have been at this for a while have seen even more of a significant change, but I can’t believe where the prices were just a short time ago. BTW, I wouldn’t sell/trade it for even double what they are selling for currently. I love this watch and never plan to let it go.

I wish things would go back this time.
Even in the last 3 years things have gotten out of hand. I sold my 14060m 4 liner for about $3.9K with box. Now anything priced that low you’d know it’s a scam. |

Yes, I got 16710 last week for 8k, the seler said that previous year he was selling them at 5k-6k, and now 8k to 11k depending on condition and etc, I wonder how much they would jump by next year.

Price aside, the 16700 pepsi is an all-time favorite!

Only thing that doesn't change is how great these watches truly are.

Lovely example you have & Got to agree that the 16700 is a great watch & its my favourite GMT ( slightly biased of course as I have one ) . I've watched prices steadily go up year after year ,& keep thinking to myself this will end soon & prices will stabilise out . But how much longer can this continue before classic GMT references , to which I include all 16700 & 16710s become out of most people's reach. My 99 A serial below ,

Nice! I've been keeping all my Rolex, they're impossible to be bought for the price I paid for them over the years, even my latest SD43 is not possible to be found at the AD.
With the Rolex Scarcity game now, if you flip your SS sport, you will most likely to lose. |
