While I am sure the buyer is legitimate unless you know him personally always hold until funds are in the account, this is not unreasonable of you

Good idea on waiting op and good advice all around.

But, you still deserve a face palm for asking.

Selling a Rolex online (not a novice endeavour) is one thing; selling and asking whether sending before funds clear is another.

Don’t ever ship anything to anyone online without funds in your bank or pocket first.

Now go spend that money on something nice.
