Rolex 1655 Mk1 dial and bezel missing lime plot
Hi Guys
I would like your views on the pictures of the Rolex 1655 Mark 1 dial and bezel watch. All looks good in my opinion other than the missing lume plot indicated. Would you agree that the patina of the hands matches the dial? How much would the value be affected by the missing lime plot? Thanks |

If the price is appealing, you could easily have a watchmaker colour-match that one lume plot. Looks good otherwise.

The appeal of this Watch, it’s the dial. Finding a mk1 dial is next to impossible.
I’ll pass. |

If the price is right, then go for it. I don't see any other major damage or dial damages from the pic you provided. Missing lume isn't the end of the world. paint chips on the dial are a different story.. LAWW here in the states could do an amazing job adding paint to that plot, it would be very hard to tell after. I guess it's between you and the seller as to how much that missing paint is worth on the plot? |
