You can go to Antique Watch (19 Clerkenwell Rd, Clerkenwell, London EC1M 5RD) - Family owned business, very professional and quick. Alternatively, you should go to a Rolex specialist in Burlington Arcade (e.g. The Vintage Watch Company) - Will be more expensive, but they have been in the Rolex business for decades.

There's the RSC at 19 St James Square, SW1Y4JE, you also have a Jewellery Emporium at Hatton Garden EC1N8DL, they deal in vintage & pre owned, but depending if your looking for a service or to sell, many would say not to have RSC service a vintage Rolex, post a few more photos, perhaps you will get some answers without having to take it there.

If you are just looking for authenticity of parts etc then RSC St James, if you are enquiring about Servicing etc send an email to William Rice watches with couple of pics.
I asked them about potentially servicing/restoring what I think is a genuine 6424 and they replied same day saying it looked genuine and the movement is a 1215, I had thought it was a 1210. They won’t give a price without physically seeing the watch but I want to take it to RSC first just to make sure it’s all genuine. They have a very good reputation in the U.K. for vintage Rolex. |
