Connecticut Service Center returned scratched my watch
Hi,
Just want to share my experience and frustration. I bought Colt 44 in July and the movement had issues. In November I took it to the WTC boutique and they sent it to the SC in Connecticut. 6 weeks later I got it back with scratches on the bracelet, side of the case and lower part (4-6) of the bezel. Naturally, I complained but was told that it is my fault. The center does not have any pictures of the watch before service or after service.... The best they offered to rectify this was $180 charge for polishing. Is my experience unique? Any advice? Thank you |

I sent in my old breitling for service to danbury. same thing happened. they said too bad, pay us more money to rectify it, and would not budge. haven't considered a breitling purchase since.

I had just the opposite experience. My wife's Lady Colt had some normal wear on the watch head and bracelet. I sent it for a polish, got a quote and proceeded. Her watch came back in time for Christmas 2016 and looked like it had just been taken out of the box when she got it. I make it a point to send my watches directly to them. No need for middle man. ;)

No middle man in my situation. I dropped my watch at the Breitling Boutique and they sent it to the SC. As I said, I had no scratches just issues with the movement. What I got back was a watch scratched all around. BTW, this saga started in November '17 and I am still waiting to get my back...

Same thing happemed to me
The Connecticut center damaged my watch. It looks like the person didn't know how to remove the bracelet. Now they want $180.00 to polish. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
