Birthday Dinner Pics

Last week I celebrated my birthday at highly acclaimed The Ledbury restaurant in London. I've wanted to go for a couple of years as it has 2 Michelin stars and has been consistently ranked in the top 30 restaurants in the world for the last few years. The food and service were sublime as you'd expect, the delicious short rib of beef, roast turbot, egg with truffles and veal tartare were particular standouts.

We all had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Cake and a hard boiled egg.

Yea, I don't eat at places like that and have no desire to. Don't care how much money it costs. Just not my cup of tea. But that is what makes this world such a great place, we all don't have to like the same things. FWIW, I assumed it wasn't an egg, but that is what it looked like at first glance, so I went with it

And I didn't realize the 5th largest city in the US is considered "the sticks" but hey, you learn something new every day

In any event, not trying to poop on your thread. Happy belated

Happy bday and looks good. But when I eat at places like that I need to pick up a burger on the way home to fill up.

lmao.

I laughed so hard at this.

At first, I didn't think much of the comment. At first glance, the ice cream can easily be mistaken for an egg, but once I actually thought about the pairing of cake and a hard boiled egg, I found the thought so ridiculous that I couldn't help but laugh.

But hey, some restaurants do crazy things so nothing would surprise me these days.
