Well JJ... now that you're wearing 'wool' again full time, you'll be happy to know over here it's 25C and sunny.

How hot does it get there, Frans? 29 isn't particularly hot for us.....we can get in the mid to high 30's most summers (not including the humidity). The highest actual temperature here that I can recal, was maybe 38 or 29 C. However, we regularly have temps that feel like 40+ with the humidity....

It has been 30C to 32C all day. 29C for the evening is considered hot overhere. Top temp (but exeptional) in Limburg (South-East) was 37C in 2003. But usually Dutch Summers aren't that hot. 23C average. But at 32C+ it get's a bit uneasy due to high humidity.

It was a beautiful day here today. Sunny and about 76F (25C) with unusually low humidity for DC.
I had to spend my moring sitting in the jury lounge of our local courthouse. Got called for jury duty. We have a one day-one trial rule. You get called for one day. If you don't get picked for a jury you're off the hook for at least another 3 years. For me it's been about 10 years since the last time I was called. They had three triials scheduled; two settled and another group was called to try out for the jury panel on the third case. I was out of there before lunch.
