Great catch. Definitely one photo was stolen. I wonder if the other photos are legit or also stolen.
This seller has sold some pretty BIG ticket items in the last month and a half. |

he stole one pic? so what? he has even given the full serial number- Different from the listing he took one pic from. Probably he has just used it as it is a clear picture and clearly he could not get one by himself.
I am all for weeding out fakes but are we not going a bit far here?

Agree Toph. I do not know why this seller would compromise his standing on ebay by borrowing one picture? It would be so simple to have a full disclosure...
If he is not legit, though, then he has not business on Ebay... |

It looks like he could be a good seller. His feedback is positive and he has sold some very high ticket items.

In looking at both listings, bidcar listed the watch first (11/17), then endurance listed a Submariner a day later using at least one of bidcar's photos. Unless this is a relist by endurance and bidcar copied the photo from a previous listing belonging to endurance, then the other option would be endurance copied one of bidcar's photos. There is no why to determine who the photo belongs to unless one wants to research it all day. In my opinion, that's ebay's job. Maybe these guys are friends and share photos or possible both users are the same person. With all this in mind, and with the full disclosure of serial numbers by both sellers, I wouldn't touch either until contacting the sellers to see what's up with the photos. Plus, using the same photo to depict two different watches in two seperate auctions should be a red flag to anyone. Hopefully, ebay will sort it out. Good catch anyhow. I know endurance sells some fine watches on ebay and have looked at many of his auctions in the past. I hope he wasn't up to something and maybe there is some logical explaination for this discrepency, or, maybe not.

Springer,
If you look at the Q&A's, Bidcar admitted using the other ebay user's picture... |

Q: Hi.Will the watch come with original papers and certificate? Thank you. Nov-19-08 A: The submariner is sold with the delivery box, leather pillow and coverlet, rolex polishing cloth, Rolex Service Division Warranty outlining "Your Rolex has been thoroughly overhauled, freshly oiled and, where necessary, original parts have been replaced. Its performance again conforms with Rolex Standards." Thank you for your interest. Bill Pope tel. 678.520.7767 Why would anyone buy from this guy after reading all these questions. He doesn't even answer the last one concerning original warranty papers, and he's using another guy's photos. Then you have ibsober egging him on like he did nothing wrong. This is the type of seller I like to avoid, deceptive and nonrevealing. My kind of auction...not. LOL
