Looking to purchase a TT watch from DavidSW

Have a very special milestone to celebrate in a few months and I’d like a Rolex TT watch. I’m down to the following two pieces. I wish Rolex made a RG TT SkyD. I love both pieces here but can’t make up my mind as of yet. I’d prefer the watch be more on the dressier side..

Not sure if you are asking for an opinion Frank but that TT GMT is an excellent choice.

The Sky Dweller not so much for me.

My apologies, I should clarify. Indeed, am looking for opinions here! Thank you

My vote is for the SkyD, awesome annual calendar plus GMT.
Dressier and fluted bezel is a perfect match

I am just not a fan of two-tone, like not remotely, but something about that CHNR is special ... and I would gladly make room for one.

I have tried the RG GMT on and it's spectacular! No other TT comes close in my opinion and I own a TT blue sub.

If you have not done so, do try them on before deciding.

There have been a number of watches I was sure I wanted from the photos, but changed my mind when I got them on my wrist.

Just check you can carry off the Sky Dweller
It’s big and I had to trade mine in - it is lovely but too big
GMT is amazing and I would go this route were it me!

If that's the photo of.you trying on the TT Sky D, i'd say it fits you great and should opt for it, since if it was available in TT RG that would've been your first choice. I don't like the size and proportions of the Sky D, but based on the colour scheme chosen by you, there's no competition for the Sky D.

I'm not a dressier watch person but if I liked the SkyD I would prefer it more than the CHNR. I would however prefer the SkyD in all stainless steel. The white dial or blue dial SkyD would be my choice easily over the CHNR.

If it is absolutely those two you showed photos of then I'd choose the CHNR, the two tone and champagne dial doesn't work in the SkyD for me.

Whatever suits you best. I think the CHNR is the best looking TT out there.

Try them on and make your decision based on what you want. The TT SkyD white is my dress watch-Not for every day but great in this role. YMMV.

Of the two choices I would go with the Root Beer. I like the look and the overall setup of the watch better. I would be tempted to go with a TT Submariner though. You can get one that is slightly pre-owned for a nice discount and you will not lose much if you decide to sell or trade in the future. I also like the Glide Lock clasp. Blue Sunburst Dial for fun or Black Dial if you are not a blue person.

Add another vote for the GMT; I think it’s one of the best TT options out there.

Never been wild about TT, but that GMT configuration is rather good looking !

IMO

The CHNR GMT (it’s not a “root beer”) rises above the two tone rest home stigma. The 326933 Sky Dweller, not so much.

I prefer the CHNR. How's David's price on these? Stomach-able?

I have never really liked TT but the CHNR is awful nice looking in person.

To disclose my bias I own the CHNR. I added it thinking it would be a supplementary piece but quickly became my daily wearer and I am crazy about it.
