Rolex shipping to Canada?
I've asked and most dealers are able to ship to Canada, which is great news.
I'm concerned about duty (taxes) at the border Is paying duty (taxes) for shipping to canada a sure thing or is it avoidable somehow? appreciate any advice or previous experience -PD |

The shipper has to declare the item and the importer (you) have to pay duties/taxes based on that. If you want to avoid all that, you buy local. There's no other way about it.

You can have it ship to a UPS store or SGS CAN AM at Niagara Falls. Drive over to pick it and stay over for a nice weekend trip. Wear it over. Good luck.

I purchased a Datejust from a reputable dealer in Texas in April and they shipped to Vancouver BC via FedEx. The watch was $4000 USD - declared at full value and I paid $600 CAD in taxes and I guess a brokerage fee. Easy!

I’ve heard it can add up to 20% to a purchase price. Plus the conversion and foreign exchange fee.
