My issue with the Jubilee is it's too busy and pops too much. Every watch I see it on (and I owned a few Jubilee DJs), it makes me and some of my friends look away from the case and dial due to the center links. At least with the Osyters, they don't draw attention away from the case.

Take the Sub LVc for example. The bezel and dial really pops especially with the Oyster bracelet but attention is then drawn away after adding the “retirement home” bracelet. Joke. Ha.

Compare the 3 pics below. At least to me, the LVc on the Jubilee have my eyes playing tennis (bracelet to dial + bezel to bracelet and so on). I don’t have that problem with the standard bracelet.

I do 100% think the Jubilee look great on DJs with the fluted bezel. I would rather own that combo than a DJ with Osyter. I never regretted my Jubilee brackets with even my mid-2000s TOG DJ.

Note: I found / borrowed these pics on the 'net.
