Skydweller and Daytona?

Hi all! My last Rolex was a Black SS Daytona 6 years ago. I also have a Submariner TT with Serti Dial and a datejust TT.

I’ve now got my sights set on a White SS Skydweller.

I’m curious to hear from those who have a Skydweller & Daytona and how they split wrist time. I know for me, my Datejust is rarely worn and the Sub is worn maybe 25%. The Daytona is my daily driver although I will change to a strap to change things up.

I know everyone is different. I have a feeling that “if” I get that Skydweller that the new size may leave the Daytona in the safe with the Sub...Thanks! I look forward to hearing some comments.

For me, it just makes me realize how"big" the sky D is ( and SD43) but doesn't make me see the Daytona as small.
Depends on the week and mood as to what I wear.

How big are your wrists and do you like “bigger” watches? Because the Sky-Dweller, unsurprisingly, wears bigger than the Daytona.

For me, the two are so different that they don’t really compete against each other for wrist time and I think you’d have room in your collection for both.

I have them both and honestly what gets worn is based on the occasion. Daytona for a more casual all around and wear the Sky typically for more business.

Watches are super different. To me the Sky Dweller competes with the DJ (I know blasphemy). But also I feel that the Sky Dweller is "too big" for a dress watch. Of course it depends on what kind of shirts you wear but it's a thick watch. I personally would not wear it with a t-shirt. The Daytona to me is completely at home as a dress watch and a sports watch so just based on that I would say the Daytona will get more wrist time. Functionality is also super different and so is the look. I fell like you need both.

I love the look of the new SKyD's.. but when I tried one on, I felt it was too big for me to wear regularly on my smaller wrists.. but if your wrists can pull it off, I'd absolutely get it! It's beautiful
