Thank you for the kind words Greg and I wish you continued healing from your loss. Truth be told, I’m not terribly bad looking, witty, very charming, and I pride myself on being a gentleman. I have never really had a problem connecting with women for dating, but very rarely do I have ... deep “feelings” like I did for this particular one. It was an incredibly happy year and it ended so abruptly without much of a reason. So it was (is) hard to move on. A couple have asked about me dating younger, to be honest, I don’t seek them out, it just happens. The last couple women I dated happen to be millennials. The last two actually asked ME out. The one we were discussing I met at a wedding. I was talking to her, making jokes, danced with her, at the end of the evening she said: “I have really enjoyed this evening, would you like to have dinner sometime?” I turned around to see who she was talking to thinking “boy, that guy is lucky” when I realized it was me. I have found, and this is good news for us baby boomer middle aged men , millennial men treat women absolutely terribly. By treating the young ladies with respect as a gentleman should, they enjoy being with me. I am not a dirty old man.... (well, actually I AM...). Anyway, this thread was started late at night, my thoughts were on the good times with her, but the future has been destined. She has not contacted me and I erased her info from my phone. Somebody pick on Jocke. |
