Panerai without seconds hand

I am thinking about purchasing my first panerai - either a 111 or a 000...for people with panerais that dont have a seconds hand, does not having a seconds hand bother you at all? just looking for opinions! thanks!

not at all... I found it a much cleaner dial on my 000 without the second hand. The logo on the dial complements the whole design.
With that said, 111 is also a nice one. Can't go wrong with any of those two. Good luck on ur decision!

Both good choices!

I don't seem to mind them either way.

I have a 000 Logo and it's great. I also have an older 111.

You may want to weigh in the other differences:

The 111's have display caseback, and slightly better movement.

111's sandwich dial compared to "painted" dial on the logo.

Have you considered a 112?

I wanted the sandwich dial, but honestly, as stated, there's no wrong answer.

Can't go wrong... I have a seconds hand on the 177 but, it's non hacking so, I don't think it really helps me out a whole lot...

Some like the clean dial and some like complications - most of us probably want both clean and complicated in our collection.... Good Luck!

I have a 000 and 111, love the logo dial on the 000 and the second hand on the 111.

Damn, too late to post a pix of my no second hand 231.

Stuff it ....I'll post a pix anyway.
