It’s quiet yet it’s not. It’s a solid platinum bezel with a beautiful blue sunburst dial with the red splash that makes it a pleasure to look at. I especially love the fact that it’s rare to see this gem in the wild.

I wish Rolex used the red seconds had on more models for a small subtle splash of color. But that's probably why I don't work in product for them.

The YM is on my radar. Just trying to figure out which colour dial to get.
As much as I love the rhodium dial, with the blue seconds hand and writing, I think I would tire of it at some point. I think the dark blue dial is the safer bet long term. |

Gorgeous watch! Very first rolex I was attracted to actually...
How do you find the bezel holding up with every day wear? I read somewhere that it is a scratch magnet, esp with the platinum. |

In my darker moments in the long wait for a Daytona I did almost go for one of these as they are a little easier to get here in the UK than some other models. Defo on my long term hit list.

I am extra cautious when wearing this beauty because of the platinum bezel. It’s not your average tool watch that’s for sure. I like the fact that I have to be cautious with it. It reminds me of how special it really is.

It's a tool watch for those who don't like getting their hands dirty .

I’m wearing mine now waiting for MD. It wears like a 36mm DateJust yet has a larger presence. The red second hand against the brilliant blue is dramatic.
