I haven't seen either, but if we are assuming a relative similar rate of both the BLNR and LV being shipped to ADs I'd assume the BLNR would be easier to get. Seeing as how the BLRO is the hottest stainless steel watch and also a GMT-Master II, its release is probably stealing the demand from the BLNR. The LV of course always has the LN to compete with, but most people trying to obtain the LV are "in the know" and actively seeking it over the LN.

If I were getting my first Submariner I'd go with a 114060 anyway.

Just look at the market price on chrono and this will always answer your question. The LV keeps creeping up. $12k seems to be the price for a new one now which is crazy since these were selling for 1000-1500 below retail on the pre owned market just a little over a year ago.

I think the discontinuation rumors led to extremely high demand and even when they turned out to be false, the demand never subsided. I haven’t been to an AD recently but I believe you have to wait even for a regular black Sub Date which is ridiculous.

I have visited most of the AD's in the Philadelphia area with no luck finding a BLNR. I will continue to search.

They are both readily available. Just go to DavidSWs site and buy the one you want.

Both unicorns in the UK, but I’d say of the 2, the BLNR is a tiny bit “easier”

Which is, as it should be.

The Hulk remains stunning in all respects.

The Batman, nice as it is, is a rather ordinary GMT w a half blue bezel.

BLNR by a decent margin, as evidenced by the fact that the LVc commands a higher premium in the grey market.

I agree LV is harder to get from an AD. However, I find the BLNR to be more special with the PCL and the bi-colored bezel. Hulk is only popular now because people are scared it's going to be discontinued where BLNR was always popular since inception.

Like most have said, both very hard to get, but hulk is much more rare, IMO.

BLNR is easier to get now due to competition with 126710BLRO. Though, i expect soon situation will change. As of my belief BLNR will become extinct either in 2019 or early 2020. And then it will become the most sought out.

I am doing some traveling this coming weekend . . . called the local AD to where i will be traveling and i was told the BLNR could be had within 4 weeks with a "Special Order" to Rolex that they would place. Said they have no Wait list and will just be looking to have the watch come in for me . . . 1st in line. And they would ship to me . . ."out of state".

They have me thinking about it . ..
