>>Kudos to the OP’s dad.[/QUOTE]

Brilliant sir! I thought I was alone thinking that.

Man, what a thread. People suffer all manner of sickness, financial ruin, etc. And the OP has the unmitigated temerity to *complain* about early retirement: something most people can only dream about. Your great physical attributes also cause you grief too, wow you bear a terrible cross. And you post this:

On a luxury watch forum no less! A forum with many wealthy folks that could give a 'tinkers damn' about this so-called 'success' story.

Good God man, follow through with some volunteer work. Persue some extra education, give *anonymously* to charitable organizations, hell - do anything except complain about how your father's hard work put you in such a horrific situation.

Usually, if a thread doesn't appeal to me - I skip it. After reading a few replies I couldn't stop myself from commenting. Forgive my hard edged remarks but I can't help but be appalled by this kind of post.

You're probably a decent enough person, but I cannot sympathize with you or your burden. Good luck - I do mean that sincerely.

I "should" have worked till 55 but thought i had enough money but really didn't....Now I lost 40 percent of income with wife dying and have to move and "start over" at 61 is not much fun....Im ok money wise I just have to watch my spending and cant blow money watches anymore.
