They are available and usually purchased from a dealer. I have personally seen the brass, wood and a cheaply made plasticky foam type date just clock that the dealer had. I only had my hands on the cheap looking date just looking clock for a few minutes so I can't really describe it that well. It had no glass like the brass pieces and looked like it was cheaply made. It used an a cell but was not a Chinese or Japanese movement. The brass clock did not use batteries that I had ever seen. It appeared to be well made and very heavy. All were supplied to the dealer by Rolex.

Just to be clear about this - and as multiple postings in the WatchOut!!! section prove - these eBay clocks you see are all unauthorized trademark hijacks.

They are counterfeiting the Rolex brand name, logo, etc.

Most clocks I have seen on ebay reflect this. There are correct dealer clocks floating around however. Rolex supplies these to the A.D.
The current brass clock that resembles a date just s quite heavy. It has a switch on the back that says fast, slow and stop on it.

in your first post you say "They are available and usually purchased from a dealer." in your second you say "Rolex supplies these to the A.D. " so which is it ?

please show us a photo of a clock that resembles a datejust, to my knowledge they do not exist, you are saying it has a date function and cyclops. ?

heres a scan of an older rolex internal AD catalogue of clocks that could be ordered by AD. If there is an new one out there i would like to know, if your AD sold it to the public they are doing so against policy and could get in real trouble, these are for AD only not customers.

I have seen a couple of members here sell the walnut clocks for big $$$. They stated an AD sold it to them (maybe an AD who was losing their francise?).

To clarify: they are supplied to a dealer by Rolex. I would assume that a dealer then sells them to people on the resale market. I know they are not actually for sale. The two that I know that have traded have sold because the dealers have both lost their distribution rights with Rolex. The one dealer then sold all of his displays etc to a friend of mine.

Well that's the classic one I already showed, not a DateJust no date, cyclops or words datejust on it, as I said no particular model ever. Not for sale to customers.

Thanks for the corrections. I am sure that Rolex does not want the clocks sold on the resale market but the former A.D. are surely tempted by the large amounts of money that clocks and displays can bring in on the resale markets.
Kind regards. Joe

For Sale, Rolex Wall Clock

I have a wooden Rolex wall clock for sale if anyone is interested. I bought it from a friend of mine several years ago. Still works and keeps good time. It is wooden and not plastic and has a Tochigi Tokei movement. My email is [email protected] if interested.

I found this one on a Google search and a black sub, kermit, GMT. Not real though. Here's a pic of one of them.

Rolex Wall Clocks

When we opened the Ben Bridge store in the Houston Galleria in 2003, we got a Rolex display clock from Rolex. It looked like a Day-Date in gold without a sweep second hand or day or date windows. It was VERY heavy. I'm not sure what kind of batteries it had, but it was still going strong in 2008 when I retired. It came with a letter that basically said, "This is not your clock, it belongs to Rolex, and we can demand its return at any time. If it stops, call us and we'll have it fixed."

Size: 60.3 KBI know this came from an airport. I believe it to be one of the Pan Am clocks without the logo. Any info or idea what it may be worth. I have had it for years

I believe I've got something pretty rare here, but was interested in hearing everyone's thoughts. The clock measures 19in across and came from the bankruptcy auction of a Canadian AD.

I've only been able to find auction results/prices via Christies.
