Sinn

Has anyone on here got a Sinn watch and, if so, how do you find it?

Thanks.

Briefly had one--returned. The quality is okay but it is not a Rolex when it comes to the precision of execution.

This 757 UTC has been become a favorite in my collection. Tons of features, added shock resistance, antimagnetic, and cased in tegiment steel.

The brand has many models to choose from, something for everyone.

I had the 856 UTC. I liked it but did not wear it often and sold it. It was not extremely precise but otherwise i think it is a fine watch

I really like some of Sinn's designs, but never really got around to picking one up... yet.

before purging all my 'big' watches, many many years ago it all started with my fascination with the late-great-lemania-5100-based 142.

the minute counter being central was just the start... the fact that it was also sweeping was what threw me over the edge.
that sweeping feature alone completely mesmerized me.

loved this model so much that i had, over the course of several years, been lucky enough to have owned 4 different versions.

the last one said goodbye a few years back...

Received from my uncle as a present about 2 years ago. It’s never been worn except for the wrist shot. I think this one may be slightly collectible but not sure of the market.

Bought a 903 because I like the Navitimer, but not a fan of Breitling. The 103 and 104 are currently on my very short list.

And FYI: When Breitling went bankrupt in the 70s, Sinn bought the rights to the Navitimer -- design, parts, tooling -- and called it the 903. The first ones had handwound Lemania movements. Currently they use a SW-500. The 10 o'clock crown turns the slide rule -- which gives this watch more water resistance (100m) than the Breitling, but does it make a tad more cumbersome to "use." It's 41mm and I like that the dial is not as busy as a Breitling, there is enough going on there already.

Had Sinn EZM 13. Like everything about it on paper. The wearability is questionable. It was not comfortable on my wrist.

The lume on my Sinn is good, especially after a dip under a halogen light. My Seikos have better lume.

I will tell you as a person with far too many watches, my Sinn is a very sharp looking watch in person. Nice size, comfortable, legible, no complaints.

I have a U1 and it's tough as nails. Highly legible under water and comfortable, too.

I have owned 2. They are great watches for the price. The fit and finish is well done and overall both I owned were very nice. I got rid of them for one reason or another but wouldn’t hesitate to buy again

I have had my 856s utc in rotation for 4 years and have been wearing it a lot lately.

The main difference to other watches is that if I knock another watch on a door handle I check to see if the watch is ok, with the sinn I check to see if the door handle is ok

My one and only is the EZM 1.1. Impulse buy, instant keeper. :)
