I would wait. The extra fees plus import tax isn’t worth it.

I don’t know he started the thread over 15 months ago. How much longer you think he should wait?

$600 now or -$600 in what...9-12 months maybe? IMO, I’ll take the watch now and the happiness it will bring. Life’s short. $600 is reasonable.

If you want the watch, buy it now. You will get what you expect from DavidSW. I have bought two watches from him and am very satisfied.

Here’s how I would put it:
1- If tomorrow you learned that it will be discontinued next Basel, will that be worth the $600? 2- If you learned it will go up in price another 10% ($900) will it be worth the extra $600 now? 3- it goes now on grey market for way more than $600 above MSRP so I don’t see it unreasonable in any way Finally if you keep the watch for 10 years, that’s about $0.16 per day!!!! I never bought from David but he has great reviews and is a trusted guy. I talked to him about a couple of watches and was very honest and straightforward, I would definitely do business with him Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just wait ! I would rather have a "Good Deal" than a "Good Watch" you could enjoy for the rest of your Life ! Unless you are a "Flipper" then you need a good deal.

Funny to see someone agonizing over paying $600 aud over retail though. Nowadays the grey dealers here have them at about $6k aud over retail
