Wait for the one you want, BUT, I believe the no date looks better, much cleaner look.
Two other things to consider: 1)the no date is the essence of the Sub. The first subs had no date so you are in keeping with the great history of the watch, which I think is important. 2) stainless subs are worn everywhere and the vast majority have a date. If you want to stick out from the crowd, get the no date. Great watch, have fun and good luck. |

Meh. Date is better IMO. Dealer told me the two easier ss models to get are explorer1 and SubC no date.

My only issue with the Submariner Date is that it has a date function. Other than that, I like them equally.
It really isn't even a little bit about what is more popular, more true to the original, more "iconic", harder to find or the better "investment". The day I need help deciding whether I want a date function in my watch or not...please pull the plug. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |

Don't sacrifice. And for me one of the best features is the date so it's a no go for me to get one w/o a date.
