Thoughts on Tesla Cars?

He may be too clever by half: so over confident of his own intelligence that he enjoys annoying others.

Key Difference: Intelligence is the quality of being well informed with a capacity to be smart - yet he wastes valuable resources by reducing shareholders’ value. So not-smart...just my 2¢

They’re going to crush him.

I’m losing respect for this guy.

Did he forget that he’s living in America with American laws?

Funny how after that Twitter outburst he’s gone completely silent.

Maybe the bear has already sat on him.

American forgets stuff quickly. He needs to lay low for a little while, maybe go on a vacation where the destination doesn't have internet ...

I read that analysts assign $130 of stock value to the allure of Elon. The board is in a precarious position. They need to muzzle him, but can't afford to fire him. He's allowing his irrational impulses to rule and is not capable of a mature strategy at this point.

Yeah, the board must be losing sleep.

I read last week that the SEC didn’t want to jeopardize or damage the Tesla business hence the soft settlement. Tesla is good for America.

What a bad position to be in for both sides.

Just read that Einhorn is comparing TSLA to Lehman. And he's saying Musk is trying to get fired before the collapse so that he doesn't have to own TSLA's demise. He might not be crazy after all.

Wow, that’s interesting! Maybe it is strategy.

Isn’t their supplier payment due or over-due and ridiculously high?

I believe the Tesla Model 3 is 4th or 5th top selling luxury sedan in the US and the only fully electric one out of the top 15.

Really?? Maybe so. I see them everywhere though. But I also live in San Francisco which is expected.

I've never seen one in Arkansas. I've seen a couple Model S in NW Arkansas, but nothing where I live.

It's funny that the 3 would be compared to luxury car sales. It's billed as the car for the every man, not a luxury car (the forced options drive up the price, but it's supposed to be a $36k car).

Where does it stand compared to Camry annual sales?

Doesn't look like the Camry is doing so well... Damn you Telsa! j/k

The Model 3 is pretty new to the market, YTD is ~80,000 units.

Toyota Camry
27,640 Month (Sept)
34,732 Month LY
-20.42 Change
262,887 YTD
282,507 YTD Change
-6.94 Change

It's these numbers that have the insiders drooling, and Musk in control.

I think they're channel stuffing.
