family

did you grow up in a family who are watch freaks? i did. The male side of my family always talk about rado, omega, rolex and stuff while the female side of the family are all about the cartier and the gucci. so i think that's how i got the watch bug.

Did you grow up in a watch freak family?

Well, my Mum was always saying: "do you know what time it is, you have to get up and go to school!" Does that qualify?

Cheers,

Chris

well if your filipino deep down were all WIS. my grandfather had a longines ,my father had a pepsi a long time ago early 80's and sold it. And now has a ss datejust from 1981 if i remember correctly, also he gave one to his brother which was a rolex precision. as for my mother she has a ss datejust from my father, and i got mine from my parents. I think it runs in my family DNA.

No-one else in my family. I'm desperately trying to interest my son but so far he's not buying it. Oh well he has a cell phone.

I've been surrounded by beautiful watches all my life, and a lot of my early memories involve tearing around the local AD as a four year old

My family have a love of Rolex...not watches.

My late grandfather bought the first one...an Oyster Date in Singapore in 1958.

My father bought a TT DJ on a Jubilee.

I have an LV and my grandfather's OD.

3 Generations of Rolex buyers of 51 years!!!!!

Can't ever remember my Dad or Mom wearing a watch. I have a beautiful Hamilton pocket watch that belonged to my maternal grandfather. I just got the bug early for some reason. Always was a Rolex fan before JJ turned me on to Rado!
