Very cool. That's one of the great things about Panerai. So easy to change the look with a different strap.

I wish some of these Panerai style buckles were a bit more curved, they tend to stick out a little and not follow the contour of the strap when it curves on the wrist, if you know what I mean. Maybe it's just me with having a smaller wrist.
Otherwise, it looks real good.

The buckle on the Landa red vintage strap is curved and follows the contour of the strap. The buckle sides length on the strap is also 85mm.That centres the buckle towards the thumbs side of the wrist.Thats good because that keeps the buckle form scratching, compared to when its cented in the middle,of the wrist. On the Kaktus Beater straps the buckle is straight, not curved and does not follow the contour of strap.I like both designs. Both looking nice in their own way.The ones I dont like are the deployant buckles and the thumbnail buckles,as found on the current day Luminors.Panerai manufactures a pre-V style buckle in 22 and 26mm.In 24mm its sewn-in on the MX range.

I have ordered another one from Julien Landa,to be made from this same vintage red hide. This time with gold stitch and black edges.Cant wait !!!

Of course I will post pics when it arrives.

PS my wife has also ordered the same strap for her 113.Exactly like the ones in the picture, just shorter lengh. Also, red edges and red stitch.
