Here’s a quick read that I found. It’s baller for sure.

If you want an opinion, let me know. I’ll meet you down there sometime next week.

Thanks T! This might be outta my league. I won’t see it until the end of next month anyway, so who knows if it will still be available.

I'd love to see one in person. Any way ya look at it - It's a unique piece. That alone gives it a certain cachet.

Rolex should think about re-issuing an updated Serti dial. It was 'flash' but classy.

Thanks for posting!

Thank you for your input. At 96K it would be out of my price range unless I did the unthinkable and moved some of my existing pieces. The picture is of the actual watch for sale. I won’t see the piece until next month, so who knows if it will still be available.

Love this watch. Would be even better with a diamond dial.

I've been very seriously thinking about picking up a used Serti sub. It's not just the gems -- the champagne and slate dials are very pretty.

I agree. I actually have one myself. If by some miracle I’m able to acquire this amazing time piece, I’ll post pics. Here is my 1999 Submariner with the Serti dial

Or better yet, a new Z06 in that burgundy color that just keeps calling to me....

Totally agree... but DANG!!! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’ll keep everyone posted

Great question. The RG Daytona isn’t anywhere on the website either.

This time piece would fit right in here where I live. I wouldn’t stand out at all. I’m not being sarcastic. Where I live, I’m surrounded by AP’s, Patek’s, Richard Mille’s and the like. So that isn’t really a consideration for me.

Very good point. I would do anything for an A. Lange

A Patek and such does sound better but I wouldn't underestimate this watch. It's unique to say the least.

I’m gonna give it my best shot. I’ll post pics if it happens. Thanks for the insight

Is it a “sunburst” dial. I can’t tell from this photo. This photo is of the actual watch for sale. Do you have inside information about the dial being sunburst, or are you guessing from the photo?

Yup i saw it in the store here in Singapore, definitely sunburst. (Similar to the WG daytona blue dial) Thats why i liked it even more.
