Strange Fruit

I was down in sunny Florida, visiting my grandmother for her 95th birthday. As we usually do we picked some oranges to take back with us. While selecting between tangerines, oranges, and lemons I came across the most amazing fruit. It was just begging to be picked and kept, so I did.

Thanks for looking...

very important to pick these as soon as they ripen for, if you don't get them as soon as they mature you risk them falling and becoming vintage... hehehehe

This never before seen image seems to contradict Jocke's recent photo-essay concerning the way Rolexes are brought into the world (or dare I say, come to fruition).

Great shot. I'll bet that grove charges more than $10 a bag to pick 'em yourself!

Cheers,

Chris

Nah, not 10 bucks a bag. FREE. (The grove is my family's) the oranges and tangerines are a special hybrid that are nigh on impossible to find anymore, the big freezes in the 80's and 90's almost wiped them out. MUCH different taste than can be gotten in a store. Didn't mean to contradict Jocke's work though, have been a fan of his for years..
