BLNR Wait

Hey all,
Public service announcement. Inquired about a BLNR a whopping 4 weeks ago and got a call today. I passed as I just want to wait for the pepsi, but the point is this, if you are in the U.S., don't pay over MSRP! They aren't that hard to get. That is all.

Excellent news! Not bad for a month of waiting. Looking forward to seeing it on the wrist!

Lucky guy.
When you ask about a BLNR here in the UK they laugh in your face.

I was in the same boat last month. Got the call after 2 months of wait but turned it down because I'm waiting for Pepsi.

Hmm.. you guys read his post? He passed so you won’t be seeing it on his wrist. He’s just letting everyone know one can be had by getting on the wait list.

Depending on where you are in the country, it just takes some effort to get on a waitlist for a blnr. I think the concern is that most did not put in the effort

I can't remember exactly how long my wait was - somewhere between 3 months and a year for the BLNR. I don't expect that I'll ever see the white Daytona C.

For frame of reference with same AD I waited 18 months for a black Daytona.

I have a good friend who just got one after a month wait. He had just purchased another Rolex from the same AD, which probably helped. I can say from experience that if you are a "good" customer, you have a much better chance of getting "the call" much sooner than anyone else on the list.

OP, I think you’re just fortunate to have developed a relationship with a seemingly reliable AD. You obviously have some relationship having previously purchased an SS Daytona. For others who have no prior history with an AD, I don’t think it would be quite as fast as 4 weeks. I think location (big city vs small city) may play a roll as well. I’m sure there are plenty of people on this forum who have been waiting months for the call for the BLNR.

Agree. Not saying everyone will get one that fast but in no way am I a big fish or anything, kinda still amazed I have a Daytona. But I think most everyone in the u.s. could get one in 6 months or less if you try. Just trying to do my part to encourage people to save some money and not pay 2k in premium.

I wonder if it's the same case with the LVc. In my experience, seems like the availability for BLNR and LVc are about the same? Curious then why the premium on the LVc is more.

I think it’s 25% luck of when the shipment comes in and 75% how much your AD likes you. But that’s great you got one so soon! That 75% must be in your favor!

Update: regretted not picking the last one up so called back and begged to be on the list again in November. AD called today with the new one. Wife picked up for me and will be my solstice present. AD heard nothing about discontinued when I talked to them on Monday. Rolex guy there said he saw all the online stuff and doesn’t believe it. I’m very very lucky with my AD I guess, but I’d wait to hear something for sure before u drop 13k on a Preowned blnr based on a rumor.

Something is not stacking up with your stories IMO. No offence!
