Ok , as of late I’ve had a few threads of this or that
which looks better on my wrist ...
Comfort wise as well ...

Was contemplating of flipping my 116600 late 2017
full set in my name for either :

Sub C , Sub C date, Sub 16610 LN late serial with
rehaut engraving or keeping the 116600 SD C ....
Also thought about a GMT 2 LN but no wrist shots .

Oh, also thought about a 16600 5 digit SD4K but
couldn’t source one to try on to compare to the
new ceramic 116600... Thoughts ?
Anyhoo I think I already know the answer...

What's your rationale for switching?

It's really going to come down to you and how it fits on your wrist

For 99% of the general public if your showed them the pics you posted and they saw it on your wrist they will say they all looks the same

I had the 16600 before getting the 116600 - they are worlds apart and i would never go back.

The SD4K is my second favorite Rolex of all time (16710 BLRO is 1st) so I'd have a hard time letting it go. Especially for a lateral trade in terms of style. Sea Dweller and Submariners are so similar in appearance. Maybe if I wanted a PM SubC or a Daytona I'd consider it. But I'm a SS guy through and through so PM is a non-starters for me.

Always a personal decision. Nobody can make that for you. Just keep an eye on the monetary value of your SD vs. whatever else you're looking to acquire. Ya gotta do what your heart tells you, but listen to your head. I wouldn't be happy keeping a watch I like but don't love, especially when I badly wanted something else. But I'd make sure I got equal value in any trade. Maybe a little cash your way, etc.

Keep the SDc. The best of both worlds. 5 digit style case with all the modern upgrades. This is the one watch in my entire collection that I never would sell.

The wrist shots all look great, but are you really going to get the bang for your buck? You've got several candidates that would work fine. But that's just it. They're all fine.

My thought is to hold tight until something comes along that blows your socks off.

Agreed with this. Of the Sub, Sub Date and SD4K, the SD wins hands down. Unless you're moving to something other than a dive watch (ie: GMT or Daytona), I can't see any benefit in a change.

I see your quagmeyer. I love the SD4k look but it did not fit well and I went 116610ln Sub

Sold sub and Then I went 16622, for the comfort I was missing. I have bony wrists so that’s why I went YM

Was itching for a change but I think I just need to
stay put and enjoy my SD4K C...

It’s really tough to beat the 60 minute Marked bezel
unless I go SD50th but can’t make move right now ...

My friend offered to trade his 2017 116600 for my 2013 116710LN, with $5k top up from me
I'm curious about your view on your 116600; are you bored of it or does it look small on your wrist or is it the thickness & heft that wore you down?

I've had both the 16600 and 116600. Both wear similarly thick, if that makes any sense. Weight is much more noticeable on the 116600 due to the bracelet. The hollow/stamped bracelets wear light.

I must be an oddball since I've owned three Glidelock bracelets now and miss exactly zero of them. Most of my bracelets now have stamped clasps and two are machined. As long as they're sized properly I find them all comfortable.

Of anything, the Jubilee and Super Jubilee are the most comfortable, especially on the GMT since it's low-profile compared to a diver.

I guess it’s a combination and maybe just wanting something
new ... Albeit , Flipping thd SD4K C and getting something else
then regretting it is haunting me ...

Essentially the only thing I would change if I could change
something on the SD4K is the height of how the
case sits on the wrist .

Every thing else is perfect and I love the bezel on it .
All the other divers look a little plain now that I got used to
the bezel on the SD , it looks so balanced plus no cyclops .
The ND Sub C looks fantastic also but it’s so light it throws
me off ... I can’t explain it ...

It would definitely be a mod but could you source a submariner case back and would it fit? I’m sure it would reduce the depth rating but I doubt it would matter. I like that the 116600 sits a little higher. Not for the overall height but because I have less metal sitting on my wrist, particularly in the summer time when it’s hot.
