Seen Today in Kansas

Killing time and there it was

Just purchased a BLNR in December so potential divorce prevented taking her home.

Given the choices, that watch or a divorce....................

......I would be finding an attorney about now.

Should have bought it and begged for forgiveness later.

The date was already set to tomorrow's date. It's a sign that you will be divorced by this time tomorrow.

That was just sittin' there waiting for a buyer?! Better to ask for forgiveness than permission, right? :)

You wife would have loved you had you purchased for MSRP and sold for $17k, making a tidy profit of around $7k after paying tax on purchase.

How many calls do you think the only 2 ADs in Kansas have gotten so far?

I bet they’d be a lot more supportive if he went home with the BLNO.

Just kidding. I’ve been there... a few times. Divorces are tough, but they’re generally better in the long run.

But a Rolex! A Rolex is for life.

There's a reason divorces are so expensive......it's because they're worth it!

Joking aside, the flip would've been easy and then momma could get her favorite watch and you'd live happily ever after.

It's a no brainer purchase!!! In the event your wife has not forgiven you after a few months, you're still up around $7,000.00 and can offload the piece.

This whole thread is a charade.

OP bought the watch, has it squirrelled away in his safe, leaves the thread open on home computer so wife sees it. Wife is proud that husband “showed restraint”, so tells him he can buy watch. Shows up in a new “incoming” thread tomorrow.

Well played, sir!

:)

You could always make a commitment to move/sacrifice something else to make room for it in the household when you get it home.

Was this an AD or a gray?
I see these often here but at around triple the retail price.
