I think people worry about the repeated shock from the impact. I am no watchmaker, I have no idea what the long term repercussions are, but I have a student that literally hits thousands of balls a week with a 16610 on. And he wears it loose as hell, so if the head isn't getting shocked, I know the bracelet is getting beat up, LOL!
