That actually was last night, I took some pills and slept a lot. Today it’s been between 100 and 101 pretty consistanty, I hope it goes away by tonight.

Betwee 99 and 100 no, I fell a bit better, AND... have to get on a plane tomorrow. Great.. just great. Thankfully, it’s only an hour flight.

I'm an ER nurse. What I do for patients is different than what I do for myself. At work, anything over 100.4*F is treated with antipyretics.

When I get sick, I let that fever BLAST, as long as the missus is home to keep an eye on me. Yeah, I feel like crap for a while, but that fever kills viruses and bacteria. I believe (Disclaimer: I haven't done research to back this up) that the hotter you can stand without cooking your brain, the shorter time you'll be sick, as you reduce the viral or bacterial load. I am not a fan of antipyretics in my own house.

At work, I do what keeps me licensed and employed. At home, I'll bundle up with 104*F if the missus is there to keep an eye on me.
