Yes, I've seen the interview several times and I'm well aware of the reference as selling my Ed White 18 months ago funded the majority of my grey Daytona.

The straight lugs are my absolute favorite but eventually I couldn't wear the watch, it just was in too great a condition, and I don't like vintage watches whose hour markers don't match the hands. For the 10 years I owned it, it was a great stand-in while waiting for Rolex to get its act together and put a black bezel back on their chronograph. Once they did, bye-bye Speedmaster.
