New member and new owner from Phoenix
Hello all, new member here from Phoenix, Arizona... I'm also a new owner of my first Rolex, a 116610LN. My wife and I purchased it from an AD here in Phoenix this year.
I've been browsing the forums for some time, and I signed up in order to search for information on the sizing/fitting of the watch. More specifically, what is the proper side of the watch to remove the links for proper sizing? 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock? Is there a thread out there with info? I did a search but didn't find anything specific. Thanks! |

Welcome to TRF & Congratulations on the new watch!
I would suggest you work with your AD in sizing the watch to fit you the way you comfortable wearing it. There is no right/wrong way to size/wear your watch.

The AD did help me size it. At the time I didn't really think about where the links would be removed. I was in between removing only 1 link and removing 2 links. They ended up removing 2 links from the same side (6 o'clock). I didn't notice it at first, now I'm wondering if they should have removed 1 link from each side, or if how they did it is fine. The clasp seems to be centered on the underside of my wrist, but the watch typically lays a little "up" on my wrist toward 12 o'clock. |
