great deal on a 16170 if anyone is interested
I had been hunting for a 16710 with 3186 movement everywhere and finally found one.
However, in my search, I did find a great deal I passed on... Greenstone's in Birmingham Michigan (AD), had a coke GTM-II and had not yet put the last prices increases on it. It was $5,075. They also offered me 15% off even without me asking, so I assume I could have easily gotten 20%. The watch was a Z series, if I recall, and did have the 3185 in it. However, by my math, 20% off of this price is $4,060 - a heck of a deal on a new GMT-II from a AD. Just thought I would share this with everyone if someone out there is shopping for the 16710 NIB from an AD. Hope everyone got the Rolex of their dreams for Christmas! I did! |

FYI -
a fellow TRF member just called Greenstone's and they did not want to ship out of state. They are a small family-owned jeweler, so I don't know why they have that policy. But, if you want to still try, please do. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. |
