Ok my friends, this is addictive!

First of all, I hope you have had Happy Holidays, my best wishes to you and your family for '09.

As I am sitting down @ my computer on a 'slow' week, first thing I do is check this forum, it makes the morning coffee special; just reading about our favorite topic with people that understand our passion is refreshing.

After a heavy couple of party days (once again, I am reporting at almost 10am our time having my first cup of coffee!) it is time to review '09 business trips and I find:

-Santa (with the help of a great AD in Tampa) just got me a YG Daytona, which adds to my JLC Squadra Hometime purchase during '08.

-I have been talking about watches (yup, I am a WIS) with my 2 kids; and discovered that my daughter still prefers the DD and my son was 2 likings: 1.- the 'one with the little white ball' (Corum Casino) and 2.-'daddy, buy something with a lot of hands, more than the ones in your new watch'....which made me laugh

-I thought I would take it easy for a moment after the Daytona, but then January's agenda pops up....two destinations catch my eye: Las Vegas and St Maarten.

I know, I know, I just bought my grail watch; but I am already going into all the online gray dealer's homepages, checking prices (making my list, checking it twice....) and there is only a handful of people that understand me: YOU!

Anyway, just wanted to check in, and tell everyone here how much I enjoy this place. Oh, and to keep this within the Rolex General Discussion, here's a pic...Have a GREAT YEAR!!!!

Very nice collection.................

Does the Corum Casino operate in the same way that the Franck Muller Vegas operates ? i.e. the ball hand only spins when the button is depressed and stops immediately upon release. It kinda put me off the FM Vegas as I wanted a random stop and not a controlled one (does this makes sense).

No, it just a simple display, but the 'seconds' hand has the white ball.
