King of the Sea

I'm amazed how much more I prefer my 16600 over my 16610. It's the thicker case and lack of cyclops that makes this a perfect watch.

16610 is only 99% perfect watch haha.

This feels absolutely amazing on my wrist. Merry Christmas to all my fellow Rolex fans!

I agree, such a great reference and the better between the two.
Nice photo.
Happy holidays.

Very cool watch. Next on my radar too... last great Dweller. The later ones are too big for me.

It's not the size that bothers me... it's the shape.

I'm 6'3 tall and lift weights. I like big watches generally but these 5-digits just have those perfect lines.

Completely agree. I picked up a 16600 a few months ago and it is one of my favorite watches. Love how it looks and feels on my wrist. I am suprised that the SD is such a sleeper. Great value for an all time classic.

@Joearch: That looks amazing. Is that a late 90's model?

@joearch: looks great, but you’re going to get it all matt finish on one side with those bracelets. I marked up a TT sub pretty bad doing that..had to polish it.

I likely would have owned one had the right deal come along; instead I ended up with the 116600 which I love; it has so many great traits!!!

King of the Sea

What is the difference in dimensions and shape of the case between the 16600 and the 116600 SDs.

Beautiful watch. I acquired one from AD in 2003 and it still gets a lot of time in the rotation. One of my favorites. subtle in its presentation
