Speaking of tattoos
Here's a couple that follow this thread. Number 1 is your avatar. Number 2 is a variation of the R * L E X theme.

WARNING AMERICANS
As you can tell (by my screen name) I am all about tattoos! However be careful if you decide to get the rolex crown tattooed on you especially in a visible place. One of the u.s.'s biggest gangs use the five point crown as their logo and it is widely hated by other gangs! Just a warning rival gang members won't care if you don't look like a member, they would love to do harm to someone sporting a crown tattoo! |

Tats are billboards to others, good and bad, aren't they?

http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...=5+point+crown The largest Latino gang in Chicago, and perhaps in the United States, are the Latin King and Queen Nation. Latin Kings have chapters all across the US. The colors associated with the Lating Kings are Gold or Yellow and Black. Latin Kings use 5-point crowns as a symbol. The 5 points stand for love, respect, sacrifice, honor, and obedience.

Brian, on a regular basis my older daughters put those temporary tats on the 10 month old! She looks like a tiny convict. She can say two words: "Hi," and "Tat."

Now that's a commitment. I was wondering if anyone would actually do it. Congrats.

I won't even wear corporate logos on items of clothing, unless there is something about that company or sports team that says more than meets the eye.
I will wear a Ruger firearms logo, because I admired Bill Ruger and his commitment to his craft and to his country. I wear the Albuquerque Isotopes logo, because it has a broader cultural meaning than just a baseball team and I think that its funny. If I actually work for a company, I might wear the logo as long as I work there or until the article become unserviceable. My debit card has the University of New Mexico Lobo on it, but that was just a nod to the locals. Other than that any logo I wear has some direct association with me, such as the United States Marine Corps, New Mexico State University, University of New Orleans, Tulane University, the National Rifle Association, the Commemorative Air Force, and that's about it. I certainly would never tattoo any of those onto my body. |
