Bronze Watch Cleaning
Hi TRF,
I recently purchased a Oris Big Crown (80th Anniversary) Bronze watch and wanted to get your advice on how to clean it. Does anyone have any suggestion to cleaning bronze? This is a new one for me as I never had a bronze watch. |

I have had a few bronze/brass watches and a cheap way to clean them up was using the ketchup in the packets from McDonalds. Would put the ketchup on a cloth and just wipe the case down. Would bring the cases back to a like new appearance.

It’s genuinely a very good question.
Do you want patina to build over time on the bronze as this may be affected by cleaning in different ways.
