Rolex 16610 P serial
Hi, just wanna ask for collective wisdom here...
Can a P serial sub bracelet come with NON-SEL? The clasp code DE11 is 2001, which i assume is correct for P. Possible for a P serial sub to have a 93150 non sel bracelet with correct clasp code, is what im asking. thanks and have a great day! |

My records suggest that the SEL 93250 was introduced during the P-case number range of 16610s. I record no SEL 93250s being fitted to A-case number watches, while K-case numbers appear all to have had them.
This suggests it is possible, although I do have 93250s recorded with earlier "AB" date codes. The SEL was introduced well before the case with solid lugs, denoted by the suffixed "16610 T" at 12 o'clock. These are found from the late Y-case number range. Haywood Insta : haywood_milton_rolex

Yes, but Peter will suffer as I do from intrusive and unnecessary private messages from people wanting answers to questions which they could and should ask in open forum. There is an expectation of one-to-one help which puts the recipient in a difficult position at times.
The problem here became so bad that I just allow my message box to stay full. Insta : haywood_milton_rolex

Sorry Peter, not my intention to downplay your help. It just came to me that i wanted more answers from the crowd.
You were the first i go to for answers which i did. Apologies if this all look very bad. Wanted initially to add on to my first post about Peter already being consulted but the urgency got the better of me. My bad. Gussed its too late anyways. Sorry. |

Lol what a bitch, the guy wanted a 2nd opinion... I've had many opinions from very well established professionals that weren't right and guess what you're not a real man if you have to post this...

In any case,
I did a search and found that there was once someone sold here a 93150 with DE clasp code. Year 2001. Year of the P serial. No SEL. So if the P serials were thought to be issued with 93250 with SEL only, then what were these 93150s of similar period meant for? The 14060s? |

^Yes. 93150 with folded end links was used on 14060M right up to the discontinuation of that reference around 2010.

I bought a BNIB 16610 from an AD in September of 2000. The SN was A943XXX. It came with a 93250 on it.

A little harsh maybe. His message was possibly better delivered through PM, but to call it a reflection on his manhood seems a bridge too far, imho.

I have sent an apology PM to Peter immediately. He hasnt replied but i hope he forgives me.
Lesson learned, if you have asked Peter, close your case. Btw, i passed on that sub as i think the 93150 is period correct but incorrect type for that P serial. Very likely seller swapped the 93250 sel off it. |
