Black seems the best choice in many ways.

Congrats. If given the choice I would go with white dial first.

Congrats - I suppose they won’t allow you to purchase both of them. One to wear, the other to flip to fund the first one. Not bad deal, the keeper 500c only costing you like $3k net.

You hit the lottery, get both if you can.

Maybe you should wait until you get the watches before praising the AD.

What I thought was going to be a really, really difficult decision was easier than I thought when I saw them together. I went white. Always thought I would have chosen black but in the flesh white imo is the way to go.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and advice.

Can anyone advise how to post pics please

Been really lucky, since late October the AD has allowed me to purchase a Sub Date, 116519ln(love it) and the White dial Daytona and also let me choose either the Black or White.

In December I could have purchased a Pepsi but declined.

I’m in the North East of England

My AD has been great with me and out of principle I wouldn’t do that. Happy to allow another customer to obtain the Daytona I passed on

AD has been brilliant towards me and I have 100% faith in them and they delivered as promised

since you are paying retail. Add both to your collection, you do not have to pick a favorite

Showed me the black first and I honestly thought I would choose it. But the White is more unique imo. To me the black is very similar to the last model as under bright light the bezel can have a silver sheen

It’s very tempting but having the 519 I am content with just the white.

What an encouraging tale...seemingly against the vast majority of examples on here of people not being able to get steel Daytonas, even after several years of purchase history with ADs. Maybe the tide is turning?

Congratulations - the excitement leading up to it is almost just as good as wearing it. OK maybe not, but you it is exciting.

I have been very lucky but hopefully other members will also have some good fortune over the coming year
