As others here have said, I would leave it. Gold is going to be more prone to scratches and when polishing gold, you remove much more metal than when polishing steel. If you polish every scratch, you're going to lose a lot of watch over the coming years.

But to answer your question, yes, totally polishable by a qualified professional.

I'd leave it to a pro. Either send it to a good watch repair shop or live with it until service is needed.

I had one a lot worse than that disappear after a few seconds on a buffer. I knew better than try to fix it myself, so I took it to a jeweler. Poof, gone!

The first of many! Enjoy as is - or give it a very (very) light Cape Cod touch-up. But I sure wouldn't.....

Yes, Cape Cod works fine on WG and no, WG doesn't really scratch any more easily than SS.

You will be chasing the Dragon if you remove that.
The first ones hurt - then you don't even think about it.
Of course you can remove it, but where does it end? You have a beautiful watch - it's yours now.

Personally it would bug me.

If you don't know how you picked the scratch up, what if it happens again after you just got it polished?

Read: leave it alone until it's first service done thru the RSC

It doesn't look very deep so it shouldn't be a problem!

I could not leave it like that.

I would mask off the brushed areas with tape and polish the links with Silvo.

A 5 minute job will remove those surface scuffs.
