Awesome - Volvo is a great car.

They are bulletproof and will go on for ever.

Still have some of the most comfortable seats too in my book.

Congrats! Looks perfect for a beater (in a good way)!

If they are really bulletproof, perhaps I should consider one when I’m going to the city.

I had several of those wagons, the babysitter crashed the first and we had to trade the second for a minivan :(. Perfect car for a musician or photographer.

We used to have this exact same car 15 years ago.

Congratulations

I have a lot of love for the Volvo 240 Bas. That was the first car my wife and I bought and it served us well for 15 years and 500 000 kms

They’re kind of quirky in a cool way, and for whatever reason they were quite Popular a lot of movies

Not a bad idea, stance it with BBS, straight pipe.

Cool ! My friend had a 240 sedan that he put >200K miles (320,000Km) on it before he gave it to his son who still has it. It's probably >400,000km by now. You can't kill those cars.

This thing is awesome, I’d keep a blow up mattress in the back and drive cross country if I had one. Would be the perfect camping/traveling car. Used to have a blast with my 2Dr Tahoe but this thing probably has more space. What are the KPGs like?

Thanks mate!

It's drinking about 10L per 100km, not super fuel efficient.
