Lucky find.

Picked up the RO 15400 from an AD right before Christmas. With all the news this week of the 15500, I guess I got lucky in finding this one.

Were you on a waitlist of any sort? What was your experience and I’m what city. Give us the story!

Lucky find.

Beauty !! Congrats.

And yes - great to have what you want as it may be an interesting year for availability. Seems like a more diffuse range of models than ever, vying for an ever more profitable share of the 40k pieces AP will make this year.

The purchase was between the Vacheron Overseas or the Royal Oak. I almost bought the Overseas but I held out since I did not see the RO in person yet.

I called the boutique in NYC but they had no more allocations left for the year. They were very cordial and friendly over the phone. I then called Material Good in NYC and they said that they had one. I sat on it for a couple of days before I went to go visit them. To my surprise it was still there and I pulled the trigger.

Very laid back experience and not pushy at all, which I like. They knew that if I wasn't going to buy it someone else by the weekend would have.

I asked but they didn't have any swag to accommodate the purchase. I also inquired the next day or so about an extra link for the bracelet. They didn't have one available but could get it within the day; at list price. I would have thought after paying list price for the watch they would have helped me out a little bit for the link. But then again, business is business, I get it.

Overall, a great experience, friendly staff and beautiful store.

I assume Material Goods a gray dealer? And if so, I’m wondering why they are selling these pieces at MSRP. Any ideas?

Ahh. Do they have ROs readily available or was the OP at the right place at the right time?

Beautiful store. While they’re in AD, they won’t have the resources as an AP Boutique. Congrats!

Nice find! Looks beautiful! I was always partial to the blue dial, but I have to admit that this silver dial is looking pretty spectacular! Congrats

Good find, considering the white dial is discontinued in the updated 15500.
Congrats!

Mistake. Code 11:59 is clearly superior and represents the AP brand the best.
