SIHH 2019- Mont Blanc

Haven't seen anything on MontBlanc's SIHH releases, but so far from everything that I have seen from the various brands, this one really stands out as the hit of the show!

Yes, many things to like about it, except the price. The other steel perpetual calendar is very nice too.

Love this watch, but can’t see myself dropping that kind of $ on the brand

Beautiful. I’m clearly a brand whore because I could not fathom paying 32k for a montblanc watch. If it said Patek I’d probably happily pay double that

Just got a 1858 Geosphere and loving it. They released one with a green dial in the bronze version.

I suppose Minerva is doing its wonders for this brand!

I think it’s attractive but way better options at that price point. The three hander at 2k sans date is a nice value

Did you see the movement? Not your avarage finish

Fair point, and its absolutely beautiful. I guess I just didn't expect such a premium. I'd love to own one though!

Nice, but why put “Heritage” on the dial?

I agree. It's a nice looking watch, though, but I'd like it better without the lume and at 38mm, as the case looks a little too large for the movement. The price is also a bit optimistic but, thankfully, they are a bargain on the used market. Still, Montblanc has been turning out some lovely looking watches in the last few years. I think the new simple time only Heritage Automatic with the salmon dial offers a lot of value and great looks, even if it also should be 38mm.

Had not seen the Heritage Automatic until you mentioned it. Stunning watch as well! Will be adding one of these to the watchbox in the upcoming year as it is much more reasonable in price!

Its not that it is bad watch or anything, but having a Sellita based movement (my assumption) in the same line as a high end Minerva chronograph is a bit confusing IMO. I think MB would be better off marketing Minerva a separate brand.

Yes, this. I would like a villeret model but they really haven't separated these models out enough.
