Fifty Shades of Grey...Ghost

Just wanted to share a few shots of my newly acquired 42mm AP ROO Grey Ghost 26470IO. As many of you know, the case is made in titanium and the bezel in grey ceramic. I used to own the 44mm ROO 26400IO which I flipped and dearly missed. When they introduced the Grey Ghost in 2018, I knew I had to have it. I have smaller wrists, circa 6.5", so the 42mm is the maximum size for me. Anyway, I love how this watch looks different in various lighting conditions. The bezel looks light grey, sometimes even like plastic, under the sun and gun metal grey to black indoors. I plan to change the straps - either grey, black or even white. Thanks for reading~

is that 15400 grey? Love the color grey as I feel its really subtle yet elegant, aiming for 15500 grey as well

Yes, it’s the grey or aka Ruthenium. I’ve had both the black and boutique blue before and I actually prefer this one. I’m not sure if the new 15500 will be the same grey. Some say it might be more matte gray as opposed to metallic.

Huge congrats! I'm still on the waiting list for mine and was considering the exact same 3 straps. Would love to see a picture if you change it to one.

Very cool photos. I really like the darker shades of bezel

With pleasure. Just placed an order for a grey strap with my local AD and it should arrive in a month or so.

I agree, I love the way the color of the grey changes in various lights. I also have considered a dark grey strap, would love to see pics if you get one.
Here’s a couple more shots.

Congrats!

Watch is good but damn that’s an odd choice of strap by AP. It’s genuinely ugly IMO and should be changed immediately.

Those are aweomse, both the rose gold and the black CE, but should be almost impossible to get since they're LEs. One can only dream...

Agreed. It cheapens the look of the watch. I'm sure it will look better on a solid grey/black straps.

I don't necessarily agree, the red GP strap is a raging success and probably inspired this two tone strap and the red/black one. I haven't seen it in the flesh but having it all one colour does get boring after a while, so I would get another strap, black for sure with this grey watch, and swap them over periodically.
