NATO for the wife

After installing a NATO strap on my TT Submariner, my wife really liked the way it looked. The only watch I thought a NATO would look good on was her 1999 Yachtmaster with the platinum bezel. I wanted to share it with my forum family. I thought the pics would have turned out better.

So here it is. Hope you guys like it. She loves it and is very happy.

Looks like she bought a 22mm by mistake? Or was the oversized look the objective?

I might be wrong but this is a ladies YM that has 14mm lugs.

You guys have a good eye. I wouldn’t have noticed, but yes, the Yachtmaster is the ladies reference. I thought it had 17mm lugs so I bought 16mm nato because that was the smallest I could find.

The nato was too small, but it still fit. It doesn’t seem like others liked it very much based on the amount of comments. Anyhow, thanks for looking gents. Have a good week.

If she's down with the NATO, that's cool by me.

It's the mindset that comes first. You could always try to source a more size-appropriate strap later.
