Anybody know or seen a 116710LN in Germany or The Netherlands at their AD
Goodmorning watchlovers,
For a long time now I’m searching for a 116710LN, the GMT Master II with the black dial and bezel, my local AD in The Netherlands has put me on the waiting-list for this beautiful piece. I walked in last week and he told me that in over 6 months he didn’t get any 116710LN in. Weird story because a friend of me has bought one by the same AD 3 months ago when he was in the neighborhood and just walked by to make a little talk with the AD personal, they offered him the GMT and of-course he took it right away. By the way, I’m on the list for the new Pepsi BLRO as well for almost a year now but I don’t think I’ll get that call from my AD any time soon, therefor I’m searching for the 116710LN use as daily beater. The BLRO will come some day in the future (I hope) and that will be my “special occasions watch” I’m really pissed because the grey dealers and their prices make the dream for a real watch-lover of owning the new beautiful Pepsi a pain in the butt. This morning I’m going to 3 city’s in Germany to search for the 116710LN, so my question for you guys was if anyone had seen or has been offered the black GMT 116710LN at any AD in The Netherlands or Germany so I can go there tomorrow and finally get the watch of my dreams. Have a great week, BigRed92 Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk |

Sir
There is a worldwide supply issue. Look at trusted sellers here.

I know there is a worldwide supply issue, But I’m on this forum everyday and once or twice a week at a minimum I see posts about watches sitting in the window or, anybody who wants this or this model, there is an AD here and there that has one, therefor my question. Maybe someone had seen the black GMT in the window or knows their AD has one in The Netherlands or Germany. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk |

The one in Oldenburg had a Smurf in the window, platinum daydate and some datejusts. No SS Sportmodels, I’m now off to Bremen

Good luck Bigred! Don't they tell you over the phone if they have them in stock?
I called dozen of ADs in Portugal, France, Belgium, UK, Germany and Tunisia, and all but 1 at Frankfurt's airport told me about their stock. It's a bit quicker than travelling (but doesn't feel like a quest as much). |

Should not be that hard to find one at one of the many (grey) sellers in NL.
Have you looked at the sponsors of the Dutch Rolex forum and/or the trusted sellers on Marktplaats / Chrono24.

Yes I’ve looked at the trusted sellers at the Dutch Rolex Forum but they ask to much, I’m willing to overpay some but not 1000 - 2000 euros, also on Chrono24 they ask sometimes 9500 for the LN. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk |

Very rude people at Meyer in Bremen, I came inside with my girlfriend talking in dutch, the salesman came to us and litterly said : You can leave we don’t have the Pepsi here. I said that I didn’t come for the Pepsi but for the LN.
Not even a sorry or what so ever, he just said, you can leave we sell only to people in Bremen and not to dutch luck seekers. Never coming here again and I recommend you guys will either, if you want to be treated rudely then please go to Meyer in Bremen. The people a cross the street at Wempe were most kindly, very good service and did walk 3/4 times to the back to show me some models, they had a beautifull gold GMT, TT sub with the blue dial, TT Skydweller and two beautifull datejust 41mm with the fluted basel and jubilee bracelet, one with the black dial with diamonds and one rodium dial also with diamonds. The people here were again super friendly, took there time for a potential customer and are willing to do whatever they can. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk |

just make sure you let the AD at Schaap en Citroen know you really want the LN and wait for it to come in. So you have to wait for a while what's wrong with that?
And no don't go grey dealers. You dont need to pay more then MSRP for ANY watch. |

For me haggling is a must, I need a discount of some sort to make me feel good and would walk away for a 100 on a >10k purchase. Always polite and in good nature with an honest smile. Bargaining is something a lot of Dutch do but in Germany is very much frowned upon. Still managed to buy two Rolex in Germany though. Perhaps Meyer has met his fare share of clever kasekopfen and is tired off them. I would not be offended but accept it as a cultural difference Just be patient and your LN will come

Anybody know or seen a 116710LN in Germany or The Netherlands at their AD
Guys, meet the happiest person on planet Earth, ME !!!!!
I found the 116710LN Today in Germany, it was not at a AD and also not on the grey market but it was at a private seller who had bought the watch last year in November as an investment. I overpaid just a little bit but now I have my dream watch and I don’t have to wait between 6-12 months. ** Special thanks to the great staff at Uhren Schmiemann in Oberhausen, their watchmaker checked the watch for authenticity for me, and did even a waterproof test and Caliber test, everything came out just fine. All this was free of charge but I’ve donated some money for the great service to the staff to have a couple of drinks after work. ** (Covered my tattoo with a little piece of my hand) |

The best option is to go to Schaap & Citroen and put yourself on the list, when I get the call from my AD then I have to buy it for my friend. He saw mine today and was totally in love with it. |

Great! You did well. My AD told me lately deliveries for 710 dried up and as of him they just prepare introducing 126710LN. So from now on 116710LN will become a rare bird to observe at any AD.
